We are seeking a conscientious and forward-thinking finance professional to lead this critical function during our season of transformation, growth and innovation. We are entrusted with precious funding from individuals and institutions, and we strive to maximise the good these funds can achieve for more children, their families, and communities around the world.

 

The Head of Finance role is ideally placed at the heart of our operations, leading a team that is involved with all aspects of World Vision UK’s work. As a strong collaborative leader, armed with experience in the UK charity sector, you will oversee a group of committed professionals from a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds.

The finance team performs well within the organisation and regularly meets all regulatory requirements. We went live on Microsoft Business Central in 2025 and have an ambitious plan for the current year, seeking to maximise opportunities for automation, simplification and other routes to ‘working smart’ and growing influence. High on the agenda for the future is working with colleagues in the newly formed Business Intelligence team to standardise and drive quality in data and reporting. The donation processing team sits within Finance and is a key contributor on a live project to build a new CRM.

The Finance team requires a leader who is technically confident, transformation savvy, and emotionally intelligent.
